Most bloggers and photographers have a crazy busy schedule, so it’s always a blessing when Ariana Lauren and I have a full day to do shoots. Actually, we’ve done only half-days which is a 3-4 hour session that ranges from 4-6 looks. We would always shoot until sundown and then finish up with a nice meal somewhere (i.e. Anthony’s Cookies, Project Juice, Umami Burger). That pretty much sums up my favorite type of photo session: shoot and eat. And repeat. Yes. I’m also excited to shoot with Ariana in New York City this week as we both attend New York Fashion Week.

I remember this moment when Ariana Lauren asked me how to spell “everything” in the phrase “All Black Everything”. I casually told her it was “err’thang” which I’m pretty sure is the correct ghetto-fabulous way to spell it. We shot this around SoMa, right near a freeway entrance which was kind of a bad idea since so many guys kept honking and hollering at Ariana during the shoot. I usually avoid shooting around The Mission District due to the foot traffic and craziness, but this shoot was an exception since Ariana and I were already around the neighborhood. Plus it just rained so the rain washed away all the trash and dirt, as …
