Finally landed in New York. Very smooth flight, slept like a baby so I woke up with a “wow, that was a quick ride.” My hotel was right near Times Square, so this was the sight that greeted me coming out of the subway station. I also dropped my newly bought Metro Card which is a bummer. But that’s what happens when you are carrying three bags and trying not to freeze.

Then I got to meet up with my dear friend Jeanne Grey (aka @the.grey). She was super happy she was the first blogger I got to shoot in NYC. Here’s her doing tourist stuff. I made her do it even though she’s actually from the area.

Oh and check out this Fyuse I did on Jeanne: Super cool huh?

This is us freezing together.

Next, Miss Eugenie Grey joined us for coffee, and then we wondered around Midtown looking for cool spots to shoot. Our exploration paid off when we found this random park that was exactly what @feralcreature was looking for. It was pretty tricky working on ice, but luckily none of us slipped.

Every now and then Jeanne makes a face about how cold it is.

We also found a spot that was perfect for Jeanne’s outfit. Midtown Funk gonna give it to ya!

And back to Times Square! We decided to thaw at my hotel room and recharge. This was a really fun day to start my NYFW experience! I can’t wait to see what the next couple of days will bring! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram (@ryanbyryanchua) for more fashion week photos!
