While walking alongside Melanee Shale in Manhattan Beach, we finally spotted Elizabeth waiting for us in front of the boardwalk. The first thing she tells us is that she got her PINK backpack dirty by accident when it rubbed off her bike. We just laughed …

I first met YouTube stylist/blogger superstar Roxy Limon back in April at the Blogger Bazaar event. Since then, I’ve kept in touch with her over on social and e-mails. It was such a blast to finally meet her again and actually get to know her over …
One of those days I’ve been waiting for! I’ve been looking forward to meeting Eunice (@missdanbee) in person since Christmas eve when I sent her an e-mail telling her how much I love her blog! Since then we’ve become really good *virtual* friends despite not having met yet in person. But I knew we’d click well together in both virtual and real worlds. So when I landed in LAX, I went straight to Beverly Hills to pick her up. We went to Burger Lounge for lunch and then paid a visit to Urth Caffe, which is another place I’ve been dying to go in Southern California. The matcha green tea latte was delicious and also photogenic, but their boba was alright. I like Boba Time’s better.
Within a five hour time frame, we did four looks. One in Beverly Hills (Palm Drive, to be exact) and three in Santa Monica. I’m pretty sure we spent more time sitting in traffic / driving in between places than actually shooting. Nevertheless, I had a blast! It was a really nice summer day too. It was great to be out of San Francisco and become a tourist in SoCal (even though I’ve lived in SoCal for ten years before moving to the Bay Area!). Thanks Eunice for a great time!
Check out her blog at missdanbee.blogspot.com for our photos together! Hope you enjoy these snaps and teasers from our day together!
I had another shoot with Crystal Lin of SixthTractate last Sunday. The fog has returned to bring back the summer gloom, but we were lucky enough that it wasn’t windy or too cold to shoot with her floral dress. We shot around her neighborhood in …
I actually can’t remember the last time I hung out with Roya. I think it was when we went to New York together for fashion week back in February. Actually, it was more like the Academy of Art Fashion School fashion show in late April. Nevertheless, we finally had a photoshoot together and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The sun was out. No winds. It was actually warm in San Francisco. We met up at Starbucks on the border of Nob Hill and Union Square, and then explored Nob Hill for some good spots to shoot.
Check out what we were up to! You’ll see more on her blog: retroandrich.com in a couple of days!
After the shoot, we visited Cafe de la Presse for a late lunch / early dinner. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and she had an omelette. Then for dessert, hazelnut gelato!
