Fashion Photography Books

Fashion Photography Books

This is one of the books I’ve read to help me get started with fashion photography. It is very helpful and have given me some great tips on how to get started from setting up lighting to post-processing techniques. Definitely worth getting!http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=hotogeinphsc-20&o=1&p=8&l=bpl&asins=081742721X&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr

Dominique Ansari Designs: “Obscured Enchantment”

This is the third time I’ve worked with Bay Area designer Dominique Ansari. She is always fun to work with and I always love what she comes up with on her latest designs. Featuring the lovely models Jennifer Jones, Pearlynn Dang, and Victoria Thomas. Makeup and hair by Sandra Martin. Photography assistance by David Ansari.

Recent Inspiration: Beauty Shots

Last week, I realized what one of my original inspirations were for photography. And that is capturing beauty. Therefore I would love to do another beauty shoot project with an awesome makeup artist and hairstylist. I want to let the makeup artist and hairstylist loose with complete creative freedom. These are samples of what I meant. If you are interested, let me know!!
FYI: Most likely going to have a couple models from either JE or PASSPORT Modeling Agencies.

Recent Inspiration: Asian Actresses and Models

Inspiration comes from random places. This January, I want to do a shoot with Asian models. I was inspired by these two Asian models/actresses. The first one is Taiwanese actress/model Chiling Lin. I was watching the movie “Red Cliff”(directed by John Woo) and I was
