Christin Mills & MUA Ignacio Maciel Shoot

I finally got to work with the very talented makeup artist Ignacio Maciel after not seeing him for several months. Bay Bridge traffic was terrible that day and delayed our shoot by two hours since our model Christin was stuck in traffic.  Ignacio wasted no time on getting the first look – the bat wing eyeliner. I was amazed at the turn out, Ignacio did a terrific job piecing it all up together! He even brought different hats and props to put together the complete look. For our second look, we went for a dark smokey look. My shoot with Christin went till almost 10pm! But it was all worth it!

Beauty Day with Ignacio Maciel

I had the privilege of working with master MUA Ignacio Maciel the past weekend. He is one of the best makeup artists I’ve ever worked with! Lim, my favorite stylist EVER, was very accommodating to host us in her wonderful apartment. Ignacio came up with all the concepts for the shoot, and hairstylist Dana Faulkner coordinated the hairstyles to match Ignacio’s makeup. Lim the stylist brought in some accessories and hairpieces to complete the entire look.

Overall it was a very fun event. Models Melissa, Stacey, Natalia, and Karah were all good sport and had a great time as well. Mike Polce was also there to help me as my assistant photographer. We also watched the Super Bowl in between breaks.
