On my 28th Birthday, celebrating with a dear friend in New York City, she slipped me a birthday card. Handwritten in an artsy way, it read:
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs.
I was very moved. Because it made me realized that I was one of the crazy ones. Who is crazy enough to start a fashion and art magazine anyway?
To this very day, I still asked myself, did I really create a fashion and art magazine? Am I that crazy?
My reflection said yes.
As the first post, I dedicate this to all my friends who have supported me in every way possible. And I hope this blog, or rather my journey, will help inspire others as well.
